Malbec
Appearance: Dark plumb in color. Very dark.
Nose: Granite, dusty road, raspberry, and cherry
Pallet: Dry and smooth with earthy notes, best described as potting soil coupled with tobacco, wheat toast, and an abundance of bold fruits. Dark fruits… Plum and pomegranate.
Finish: Short but smooth with a vicious plum-iness.
Overall: Over-all this is a very nice wine. Bold fruits with the deep earthy balance makes this wine super easy to drink and left me wanting some more. This wine is bottled for World Market/Cost Plus and was done well. This wine is bottled in a sturdy, heavy bottle. It weighed as much as a normal full bottle of wine when it was empty.
